An elongated brushless motor from AXi with 4mm hardened steel shaft and two large ball bearings for mechanical stability. These motors are a new addition to the latest AXi v2 design, with improved efficiency, power output and stability throughout the range. Because they are designed for powered gliders and hotliners, these motors are not recommended for radial mounting and instead should be front mounted with the motor shaft pointing out the front of the model.

Use the 2220/20 v2 long in gliders up to 1200g on 3s with 14×6 propellers or hotliners up to 800g on 3s with 12×9 propellers. A 30 amp ESC is recommended in both cases.
